At the core, all people want the same things: security, prosperity, and fulfillment. Our disagreements are not about the destination, they are about the path. That is a far smaller divide than most would have us believe. Neither the Red Team nor the Blue Team has delivered meaningful progress toward any of these goals in decades. What the Establishment has produced instead is decay, material and moral, slow and steady, unmistakable to anyone paying attention. I remember adults in my childhood pointing to ordinary things and marveling at what they once cost. I am 26 years old. I graduated high school in 2018, and I can already do the same. Something has gone deeply wrong. Civil debate has nearly vanished. Today, a minor political disagreement is enough for each side to condemn the other as both evil and stupid (that's a script written for us). In the Age of Information, I believe the American people are exposed to more sophisticated and pervasive propaganda than the citizens of Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany ever were. Nobody can say with certainty what is truly happening, but everyone can feel it: a powerful, deliberate force working to sow disunity, dysfunction, and despair. I do not believe these problems will fix themselves. I do not believe anyone is coming to fix them for us. So I decided to try. I am running for Minnesota State Senate — District 52 because I am tired of waiting for a politician I can actually believe in. I have spent years doing hard manual labor alongside everyday people, and I have the intellectual range to engage with the sharpest minds in any room. I carry no loyalty to any faction. My only allegiance is to the Common Good, no exceptions. My entire life, I assumed a politician like that simply did not exist. I now find myself in the extraordinary position of having a chance to be one. I do not take that lightly. I humbly ask you to take a chance on me.
